today, from Labrador City
Nain, by Google Map Coucou Maman,
Je viens d`arriver au Labrador, province sur la cote Nord-Est du Quebec. J`ai quitté Montreal il y a 3 jours, et je continuerais toujours en stop demain matin tres tot. Je devrais trouver un camion pour Goose Bay, Happy Valley.
Ca se passe tres bien jusqu`ici. Les gens s`arretent plus facilement qu`aux Etats Unis, et je n`ai donc pas perdu de temps. J`ai ainsi put faire une grosse portion de 9 heures aujourd`hui, sur un chemin forestier (c`etait tres rigolo), et je ne me fais pas de soucis pour rejoindre Goose Bay demain (plus que 550km).
Il fait assez chaud dans la journée, et tres humide la nuit, mais je dors comme un bébé dans ma tente.
Vu que la route s`arrete a Sheshatchit, et que je suis allé plutot vite jusqu`ici, je prendrais surement un bateau pour rejoindre un village Inuit plus au Nord. mais je ne pourrais pas aller plus loin.
Fais la bise a mamie, je ne peux pas l`appeler d`ici. Dis a Momo, Vom, Nyko et Sylva de preparer une fete pour fin septembre. Je m`arrangerais pour etre libre.
Des gens m`ont conseillé un bar pour ce soir, on doit se retrouver la bas. Je te fais des bisous, a bientot, je t`aime.

It`s been a long time
Now I`v been from Florida to Vermont. I will cross another border on Sunday, rendez vous in Montreal. Then? I would love to hike, hitchhike along the East coast, toward Quebec, to the Labrador.

"I`m walking". I try to practice my inuktitut, language of Inuits. I got 2 months to go as far up North as I can. Program? As for nomadic in Mongolia, as for Ainu in Japan, as for Caribs in Caribbeans, I`m gonna touch again the animist/shamanic/nomadic culture in another frozen cold area, and so warmful.
Hopefully, I will be able to keep a new diary with a looooot of sketches (at least, one a day), some real true funny things that will happen (as losing a compas on the 1st day, or the sweetened milk suddently open in the backpack), and take hips of pictures !!! (few nice as well).
The other point is, as I should be on the road for a will, I will try to keep in touch by psychic wave. Otherwise, just wait for me, I will be back.
